Jakarta-Detakpos.com-PPP held a virtual halal bihalal on Friday, May 14, 2021. The event was attended by all cadres and party administrators throughout Indonesia.
When giving a speech, PPP Chairman Suharso Monoarfa greeted all party stakeholders and wished him a happy Eid.
“On behalf of personal and family, wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr 1 syawal 1442 H, apologize physically and mentally, along with prayers that we can enjoy Ramadan again, again and again. Hopefully we will accept all of our acts of worship during the fasting month and we can alleviate the entire community and nation in such a way as to face a pandemic,” said Ketum Suharso.
Ketum, who is also the Minister for National Development Planning, hopes that a Covid-19 tsunami like what happened in India will not occur in Indonesia, because currently daily cases in India have reached 362,567 cases, and every day more than 200,000 people die.

Ketum Suharso assessed that the big wave of the pandemic in India was caused when the government relaxed the pandemic and was accompanied by ignore of health protocols.
“We are grateful that the government has taken steps because of the lessons we also learned at last year’s Eid and year-end holidays, last year there was an increase in daily cases in us,” he said.
Closing his remarks, the PPP Chairperson invited all administrators and cadres to always be grateful and read the verses of the Al-Qur’an which means, “In fact, if you are grateful it will increase your blessings, and if you deny My blessings, it will be very painful. (Surah Ibrahim: 7). “
“And I once again invite all of us to be grateful for what we have got to this day, our qonaah nature and to be happy for whatever blessings Allah has bestowed upon us which Alhamdulillah is extraordinary,” concluded Ketum Suharso.(HMS)
