Jakarta–Detakpos.com-Minister of National Development Planning, Suharso Monoarfa, attended the Virtual Ceremony of Seconds Proclamation of Indonesian , Tuesday (17/8/2021).
In a pandemic atmosphere, the ceremony will still be carried out in a limited manner and implement health protocols. The public also took part in a virtual commemoration ceremony for the Proclamation of Indonesia’s 76th Anniversary.
Participants of the virtual ceremony are those who have registered through the site pandang.istanapresiden.go.id. Furthermore, the video conferencing link will be sent via email and whatsapp to registrants.
In its implementation, the virtual ceremony committee limited the number of participants to 35,690 invitations and divided them into two sessions. In the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds Proclamation of Republic of Indonesia, participants were limited to 17,845, while for the Lowering Ceremony of Sang Saka Merah Putih was limited to 17,845.
In the physical ceremony, the ceremony began at 09.45 WIB with the following series of news. Ceremonial troops enter the ceremony field, Ceremony Commander enters the ceremony field, Report of the Ceremony Commander to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Commemoration of the Seconds of the Proclamation (17 times cannon fire, siren, for 1 minute). The reading of the text of the proclamation by the chairman of the DPR-RI, a moment of silence, the reading of prayers by the Minister of Religious Affair.
Furthermore, preparations for the ceremony of raising the flag of the red and white country, the heritage flag hoisting troops entered the field of ceremony, hoisting the flag of the red and white country accompanied by the national anthem Indonesia Raya.
The Air Force Flypass was also part of the series in the ceremony, followed by a virtual Song Presentation by Gita Bahana Nusantara, the song Syukur and Maju Tak Gentar, the Indonesian Air Force Helicopter carrying the Red and White Giant Flag, Report of the Ceremony Commander to the Ceremony Inspector. Lastly, President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Hj. Iriana Joko Widodo and the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia along with Mrs. Hj. Wury Ma’ruf Amin left the ceremony venue.
While attending the ceremony, President Joko Widodo was seen wearing the traditional clothes of the Lampung Province. Meanwhile, Minister Suharso was seen attending a virtual ceremony wearing traditional clothes of Riau Province.(hms)
